LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - An Arkansas woman has pleaded guilty to one charge of sex-trafficking children after state police said she forced an underage girl into prostitution.

Amber Johnson pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday. Johnson was arrested in April at a central Arkansas hotel after an Arkansas State Police and FBI investigation.

In her plea agreement, Johnson admits to recruiting the teen into prostitution. Police began the investigation after the girl, then 14, told medical staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital that she was having sex with four to six men a day. Police said the girl and her older sister ran away from foster care last year and stayed with Johnson.

Johnson faces a minimum 10-year prison term when she’s sentenced in May.
