NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD is looking for a man and a woman they say went on a bizarre burglary spree in which they stole thousands in merchandise including cash, cigars and condoms.

WNBC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1LPvGQ4 ) police say the crimes started on Sept. 29, when the suspects cut the lock of a basement storage area of a grocery store in Brooklyn. Police say they stole cigars, condoms, headphones and more than $4,000 in cash.

Less than a month later on Oct. 21, investigators say they targeted the same store and got away with more than $10,000. Police say the couple went to a nearby store about 15 minutes later and stole a cash register and bottled drinks.

Anyone with information on the incidents is urged to contact the NYPD.
