PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say a female body has been pulled from the Delaware River in northeast Philadelphia.

Police said the body was reported off a boat ramp in the Torresdale section of the city shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Officials said the victim hasn’t yet been identified, but the body is female and may be that of a juvenile.

Relatives of a missing 14-year-old girl have been searching the area in recent days after she left for school a week ago but never arrived..
