SEATTLE (AP) - Two men have been convicted of murder in the death of a preacher at a Seattle park.

Seattlepi.com reports (https://goo.gl/dATddU ) that 37-year-old Michael Bienhoff Sr. and 31-year-old Karl Pierce were found guilty of first-degree murder Wednesday in the 2012 shooting that killed Precious Reed.

Prosecutors claimed Bienhoff enlisted the help of Pierce and two others, 38-year-old Ramon Lyons and 33-year-old Scott Barnes to rob Reed. The preacher had planned to buy marijuana from Bienhoff.

The men met at a park, where prosecutors say Bienhoff shot Reed in the head.

Pierce is accused of firing at Reed’s friend, who fled the scene in his vehicle.

Lyons and Barnes have pleaded guilty to reduced charges.
