TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Deputies say they have arrested a couple who picked up bags of money that someone unknowingly dropped at a bank.

The Tampa Bay Times (https://bit.ly/1l8NZaz ) reports the incident took place Tuesday at a Wells Fargo branch.

Hillsborough sheriff’s spokesman Larry McKinnon says a customer accidently dropped the bags which contained over $1,000. McKinnon says a woman and man picked up the cash and exited the bank.

Deputies say they eventually identified the couple partly because the woman gave bank management her name when handling delinquent accounts that day.

Authorities arrested 30-year-old Marilyn Rodriguez and 26-year-old James Logering on charges including grand larceny.

They were taken to the Hillsborough County jail in lieu of $4,000 bail each. It isn’t clear if they have attorneys.
