LAS VEGAS (AP) - A preliminary hearing was postponed for a man accused of causing a fatal sightseeing bus crash in Las Vegas while driving drunk and on drugs on Labor Day weekend.

Jonathan Donner’s court date was reset to Jan. 21 after his public defense attorney said he needed time to review police reports of the Sept. 5 crash.

Charges were upgraded last week to accuse Donner of having cocaine residue and the painkiller hydrocodone in his system, plus 2.5 times the legal limit of alcohol, when the car he was driving hit a tour bus that burst into flames.

Donner remains jailed on $1 million bail.

He’s also facing charges in northern Nevada, following his July 13 arrest in Hawthorne on misdemeanor driving under the influence and felony drug and marijuana charges.
