WOODBURY, N.J. (AP) - The New Jersey Supreme Court has refused to hear an appeal for a Delaware man convicted of stabbing a man to death 15 years ago.

NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/1HsCvD6 ) Wednesday’s announcement means 53-year-old Thomas Campbell has exhausted his options for appeals in the state.

Campbell was convicted in 2003 of stabbing his ex-girlfriend, Kimberly Love, and her friend, George Jackson, outside of her West Deptford home in January 2000. He was sentenced to 30 years to life behind bars for Jackson’s slaying and 20 more years in prison for the attempted murder of Love.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office says Campbell’s petition to the state Supreme Court was the latest in a long string of appeals.
