ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - A man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to charges related to a crash that killed his 81-year-old mother.

Multiple media outlets report 60-year-old David Michael Morrow of Arden was sentenced Wednesday to a minimum of 150 months and a maximum of 192 months in prison.

Morrow pleaded guilty to charges related to an April wreck that killed Martha Morrow.

District Attorney Todd Williams says Martha Morrow was riding in a car driven by her son on April 17 when it collided with another vehicle at an intersection. She was taken to a hospital, where she died.

Authorities say David Morrow was charged with aggravated felony death by motor, driving while impaired, driving with a revoked license and failure to stop at a stop sign.
