WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - The search for a missing Cranston man has extended to Warwick.

State Police arrived at a house in Warwick Thursday as they investigate the disappearance of Kerry Mello. The 36-year-old man has not been seen or heard from since Aug. 10. He was last seen in Providence.

His car, a black 2002 Infiniti, was believed to be in the area of Warwick. Police say it may have since been transported out of state.

Rhode Island State Police Maj. Joseph Philbin says Massachusetts State Police are the lead agency in the investigation.
