CASTLE ROCK, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a man in Castle Rock was arrested for firing a shotgun over the shoulder of a man who was bothering him.

Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Charlie Rosenzweig said in a news release Robert W. Roller was arrested Wednesday at his home in Castle Rock.

Roller reportedly became upset when a neighbor knocked on his door because he said that neighbor had been bothering him. Authorities say Roller then grabbed a shotgun, pointed it at the victim and then fired it over his right shoulder. The man was not physically injured.

The victim apparently had gone to the home to ask for a key to another building on the property.

Roller was booked for assault and felony possession of a firearm and jailed on no bail.
