LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) - A western Wisconsin motorcycle engine and parts manufacturer is looking for state and local help to expand its operations and add about 100 jobs.
S&S; Cycle plans to invest $8 million to upgrade operations in La Crosse and Viola. The company has asked La Crosse County for a $200,000 loan and is seeking a similar amount from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
The La Crosse Tribune (https://bit.ly/1kwbZ6G ) says the 57-year-old company is rebounding from struggles during the recession when it cut 60 workers in 2008.

This version corrects the short headline to note the expansion is in Viola, not Viroqua.
