BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - One person has died and two were injured in a shooting at a housing complex in the state’s largest city.

Bridgeport police say they responded Thursday evening to a report of shots fired in the area of the Charles F. Greene Homes high-rise. Officers found two victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Twenty-two-year-old Miguel Arguelles was transported to St. Vincent’s Medical Center with wounds to his neck and shoulder but died from the injuries.

Another 22-year-old man, whom police didn’t identify, suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and remained in critical condition Friday.

A 21-year-old man, whom police also didn’t identify, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was treated at the hospital.

Police say the shooting is the city’s 16th homicide this year. It remains under investigation.
