ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - Both men who robbed an Aberdeen casino at gunpoint in January have now been sentenced.

The American News reports (https://bit.ly/1MMGthB ) that 33-year-old Roger Kihega was sentenced to serve 38 years in prison on robbery and weapons charges, and an additional five years for attempted witness tampering.

Twenty-two-year-old Michael Washington was sentenced earlier to serve five years in prison for armed robbery.

The two men also must pay more than $4,600 in restitution to the casino.

Both suspects are from Minnesota. Authorities say they stole cash from Casino Korner, and each of the men fired a shot in the air while robbing the business. No one was hurt.
