ABBEVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Police say an Alabama pastor accused of molesting a 15-year-old female church member has been arrested.

Multiple news media reported Friday that court records show 29-year-old Camerius J. Mills of Edison, Georgia, is charged with rape, sodomy and traveling to meet a child for the purpose of having sex. Mills was a pastor for three years at St. Paul Baptist near Abbeville, Alabama.

Henry County Sheriff investigator Keith Cauthen says Mills first met the victim when she started attending the church in November 2014.

Cauthen says the sheriff’s office launched the investigating after receiving a complaint from the Henry County Department of Human Resources.

Mills is being held at the Henry County Jail on a $455,000 bond. His attorney Cada Carter did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment.
