MIDLAND, Mich. (AP) - Classes are resuming at a Michigan school where two passengers died this week after an SUV crashed through a wall while the building was closed for the night.

The crash occurred after 2 a.m. Tuesday at Midland Academy. Classes were canceled afterward and WNEM-TV reports (https://tinyurl.com/pvhj5db ) students are returning to school Friday.

Police say 37-year-old William Gregory of Saginaw and 33-year-old Miguel Chapa of Bay City died in the crash. The 35-year-old Saginaw man driving the Jeep Liberty survived and authorities are considering whether he’ll face charges.

The Jeep went off the road and flattened trees before crossing a parking lot in Midland. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
