WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) - A University of South Dakota administrator has been named director of Mount Marty College Watertown.

Calvin Krogman has served in leadership positions for Trio Programs, Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math and Science at USD. For nearly four years, he has led the university’s federally funded efforts to provide support and enrichment opportunities for high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds across the state.

Mount Marty College President Marcus Long says Krogman’s experience with first generation students and his commitment to adult learners is impressive.

Krogman’s appointment is effective Nov. 30.

The Catholic, Benedictine college has locations in Yankton, Sioux Falls and Watertown. It offers nine bachelor’s degrees and four associates degrees at its Watertown location.
