RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - An Ethete man who pleaded guilty in the death of a 73-year-old Fremont County woman could spend the next 10 years in prison.

The Ranger of Riverton reports (https://bit.ly/1Svp77L ) that Reuben Revere was sentenced on Thursday to five to 10 years in prison for the death of 73-year-old Carolyn Whitman, of Riverton.

Prosecutors charged Revere with driving drunk and causing a three-vehicle wreck on Nov. 13 that led to the Whitman’s death about a week later. He pleaded guilty in July to aggravated vehicular homicide.

Authorities say Revere had a blood alcohol content of .179 percent soon after the collision.

Prosecutors recommended Revere for a Department of Corrections substance-abuse treatment program.
