MILFORD, Va. (AP) - Authorities have filed charges against a teenage driver whose minivan collided with a Caroline County school bus.

Caroline County Sheriff Tony Lippa tells media outlets that the 17-year-old driver is charged with failure to yield the right of way.

The minivan pulled out of Caroline High School on Oct. 30 and was crossing an intersection when it ran into the bus, injuring 28 students and both drivers. The bus rolled onto its top in a grassy median on state Route 207.
