RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - The N.C. Museum of History is holding a free screening of “Brewconomy,” a documentary about how the craft beer industry is helping North Carolina’s economy.

After the screening Friday evening at the museum, the director of beer programs at All About Beer magazine will moderate a panel discussion that includes Camden Watts, filmmaker and director of “Brewconomy.”

The movie focuses on craft brewers, who are typically small business owners with a strong sense of community. The movie shows how the craft beer industry takes pride in using local ingredients and supporting farmers.

A beer tasting will precede the screening.
