BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it’s cracking down on seat belt violations this month.

The patrol says troopers will be conducting the monthlong enforcement effort as part of its “Click It or Ticket” campaign.

The patrol says more than half of the people killed in vehicle crashes last year were not wearing seat belts.
