WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington Police have identified a suspect in a bank robbery.

Officers say a man entered M&T; Bank on North Union Street on Tuesday and demanded money from a teller after implying he had a weapon.

Police say the man fled on foot after getting cash from the teller.

Authorities said Friday that 46-year-old William Winchester of Wilmington is being sought in connection with the crime. Police say Winchester is also wanted for probation violation.

Anyone who knows of Winchester’s whereabouts is urged to call Wilmington Police.
