TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Police in Tulsa say a suspect has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at a city park.

Sgt. David Walker said in a news release that the suspect was arrested Tuesday night for first-degree murder, a few hours after the victim with multiple stab wounds was found lying on the ground near benches and a gazebo. Police say the victim was alive when found, but died at the scene.

The victim is identified only as a 71-year-old man.

The suspect is jailed without bond pending an initial court appearance on Nov. 12.

Walker says it appears the stabbing was the result of a fight over a woman in the park.
