PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A Providence bar has closed its doors for good after a triple shooting last month.

A man and two women were shot in the legs inside the El Tiburon Sports Bar on Oct. 17. Police are searching for a suspect.

The shooting led the restaurant’s liquor license and other licenses to operate to be suspended since the shooting, pending the outcome of a city Board of Licenses hearing.

The bar’s owner surrendered the restaurant’s licenses at the hearing on Thursday. His lawyer told the board that circumstances dictated the decision and that it was not an “admission of guilt.”
