THOMPSON, Conn. (AP) - State Police say two people are dead after a Massachusetts man driving a flatbed tow truck on Interstate 395 in Connecticut crashed head-on into a car that was driving the wrong way.

The crash happened Thursday night in Thompson around 8:30 p.m. Investigators say a male driver of a Chrysler Sebring was killed along with his female passenger. Their identities have not been released until their families can be notified.

Police say Richard Boucher, who was driving the tow truck, was not hurt.
