TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The University of Arizona is establishing a new law clinic for trained and supervised students to provide assistance to farmers, ranchers, miners and other Arizonans with businesses using natural resources.

The university says the Natural Resource Users Law and Policy Center will be set up by the James E. Rogers College of Law and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ cooperative extension system.

According to the university, the center will work primarily with businesses run by families, individuals or small entities and handle matters related to land, environment, tourism, water, employment, trade and food safety and security.

The clinic will be staffed by students who will work with the ranchers, farmers and others needing legal assistance.
