DAWSONVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in north Georgia are investigating the deaths of a woman and a teenage boy.

The Times reports (https://bit.ly/1S1YyX7) that both bodies were discovered Thursday in a Dawson County home.

Dawson County sheriff’s Capt. Tony Wooten tells the newspaper’s online site DawsonNews.com that deputies went to the home to check on the welfare of the occupants after a family called the sheriff’s office. He said deputies forced their way inside and found the bodies.

Wooten said it was too early in the investigation to disclose further details.

The home is in the southeast part of the county, in a subdivision near Georgia 400.
