SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Power has been restored to 1,500 households in Syracuse after an outage caused by a downed power line.

National Grid spokesman Patrick Stella says the outage started around 8:30 a.m. Saturday. It affected customers on the south side of the city.

Power was restored to the area by early afternoon.
