MUNICH (AP) - Bayern Munich will talk with coach Pep Guardiola about his future plans during the Bundesliga’s winter break, club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said Saturday.

Guardiola has remained coy about his plans despite his contract with Bayern expiring at the end of the season. The club would like to extend his stay.

“We’ll have the talk after the opening half of the season. Then there will be a decision, and we will make it known either way - no matter what comes out of the talk,” Rummenigge said after the side’s 4-0 home win over Stuttgart.

Guardiola led Bayern to back-to-back league titles after taking over Jupp Heynckes’ treble-winning side in 2013, and has put the team on course for more success after recording a Bundesliga-record start this season.

Bayern’s last game before the winter break is on Dec. 19 in Hannover.

“I am at ease, the coach too,” Rummenigge said. “What the team delivers week in week out - you don’t need more arguments for Bayern Munich.”

Guardiola himself again refused to be drawn on his plans on Saturday. “Next question please,” the 44-year-old Spaniard said after the win over Stuttgart.
