JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - A fire investigator says the fire that killed two children in Jonesboro is believed to be accidental even though a specific cause has not been found.

The Wednesday afternoon fire at a home west of downtown resulted in the deaths of 3-year-old Sylar Hill and 1-year-old Dawson Popejoy. A man who was in the house was injured, but escaped.

Fire Capt. Jason Willis told The Jonesboro Sun (https://bit.ly/20CLH3N ) that he believes he’s found the origin of the fire and sees no sign of foul play. Willis said evidence taken from the home will be sent to the state Crime Lab for evaluation.
