PINETOP-LAKESIDE, Ariz. (AP) - The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking information about the illegal killing of a whitetail buck shot in a forest area of eastern Arizona in late October.

The department says the deer was shot sometime between Oct. 29-31 near Fish Bench in a game management area that straddles U.S. 191 between Alpine and Clifton.

According to the department, the entire animal, including the meat, was left to waste.

The department says persons providing information may be eligible for a reward of up to $500.
