ST. IGNACE, Mich. (AP) - The Mackinac Bridge’s 50th anniversary was eight years ago, but it’s not too late to get some mementos from the celebration.

You can buy posters, commemorative tokens and medallions by mail or at the Mackinac Bridge Authority building in St. Ignace.

Executive Secretary Bob Sweeney says the authority reprinted the four poster designs from the bridge’s 50th anniversary because of popular demand. The limited-quantity original posters sold quickly when issued in 2007.

A series of tokens and medallions is being offered in gift packs.

The nearly 5-mile-long bridge links Michigan’s upper and lower peninsulas. It opened to traffic Nov. 1, 1957.
