LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is inviting people to comment on the 2016-2020 Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan.

The commission says the plan gives Nebraska the direction necessary for strong outdoor recreation programs at all levels of government and the private sector. The plan also provides solutions to Nebraska recreation issues.

The National Park Service requires such plans so communities may be considered for Land and Water Conservation Fund grants.

The Nebraska plan is available online at https://1.usa.gov/1GJGwse . Comments may be emailed to [email protected] The public comment period ends Dec. 6.
