WAUKEE, Iowa (AP) - Police have arrested a man they suspect in the killing of another man in Waukee.

Waukee police say officers responded to a call around 1:30 a.m. Saturday and found 41-year-old Gino Risola with multiple gunshot wounds. Risola was taken to a Des Moines hospital, where he died.

Police issued an arrest warrant for 42-year-old Brendan McGuinness, whom police said was last seen fleeing the scene.

Des Moines television station KCCI reports (https://bit.ly/1SzVIcz ) that police arrested McGuinness later Saturday. Police did not give details of the arrest.

Police said in a news conference Saturday afternoon that McGuinness was at Risola’s house and ambushed Risola when he and his wife returned home early Saturday. Police said McGuinness and Risola were associates, but declined to elaborate on how they knew each other.
