ST. HELENS, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a small ultralight aircraft landed in the Columbia River Saturday morning near St. Helens.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office tells KGW-TV (https://bit.ly/1NiR5zh) that the two occupants avoided injury.

Authorities say the craft took off from Woodland, Washington.

Officials didn’t say why the craft landed in the river.
