LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (AP) - Washington nose tackle Terrance Knighton is sidelined because of a migraine and will miss the game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Knighton was listed as out on the injury report Saturday and didn’t travel with the team.

On Monday, coach Jay Gruden said Knighton missed practice “for personal reasons.”

Also, the Redskins announced they placed linebacker Jackson Jeffcoat on their reserve/injured list and added practice player linebacker Houston Bates to the roster.
