EDISON, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say two people were injured when three vehicles collided on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The accident occurred around 4:20 p.m. Saturday in the southbound truck lanes in Edison Township.

The two injured people were treated at hospitals for undisclosed minor injuries, nut further details on their conditions were not disclosed. Their names were not released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

State police say one of the vehicles involved in the crash fled the scene moments after the accident occurred.
