GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Thousands of North Dakota products, including food, household goods, books and jewelry, will be on display and for sale Sunday at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.

State Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says more than 100 vendors are be showcasing their North Dakota-made products this weekend at the Alerus during a Holiday showcase of the Pride of Dakota program.

Goehring says the event gives shoppers an opportunity to “buy local” for the holiday season.

More than 500 companies are members of the Agriculture Department’s Pride of Dakota branding program. Holiday Showcases are also scheduled in Minot and Fargo later this month and in Bismarck in early December.
