ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) - The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Anderson County Coroner’s Office have scheduled a news conference to discuss the investigation into the shooting deaths of four people in Pendleton.

The Independent Mail of Anderson reports (https://bit.ly/1MEhfM8) the news conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities said a husband and wife and their two mothers were found dead in a home where they all lived together. Coroner Greg Shore said all four were killed last Sunday.

Shore said autopsies revealed that 58-year-old Mike Scott; his 60-year-old wife, Cathy Scott; Mike Scott’s mother, 80-year-old Barbara Scott; and Cathy Scott’s mother, 82-year-old Violet Taylor, were all shot to death. Their bodies were discovered by the daughter of one of the victims.
