SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Police are searching for suspects in two separate shootings that left multiple unidentified victims wounded in western Massachusetts.

Springfield Police Lt. Richard LaBelle tells The Republican (https://bit.ly/1MrjTsP ) that police believe the shootings aren’t related.

The first incident occurred just after 2 a.m. Saturday in a parking lot near Springfield’s Worthington Street club district.

Police say the victim ran from the parking lot to the courtyard of an apartment complex until officers arrived on the scene. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The second shooting happened just minutes later in the City State parking garage between Bridge and Worthington streets.

Police say the victim, who was shot in the foot, was also taken to Baystate Medical Center.
