ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire police have issued a summons to a Rochester driver they say struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1SC1Z7D ) the accident occurred on Signal Street in Rochester at about 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Thirty-six-year-old Nichole Sullivan of Rochester was taken to Frisbee Memorial Hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Police issued the summons for failure to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk to 29-year-old Tyler Fernald.

A phone listing for Fernald could not be found. It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
