STEWARTSTOWN, N.H. (AP) - A meeting to discuss pedestrian needs for a project to rehabilitate a Connecticut River bridge from Stewartstown, New Hampshire, to Canaan, Vermont, has been scheduled for later this month.

Bridge Street will be closed from the spring of 2016 until the end of the 2017 construction season between the intersections with Route 253 on the Vermont approach and Church Street and River Street on the New Hampshire approach. The detour will use Vermont Route 114/Main Street over the river.

The public meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. during the regular selectmen’s meeting at the Stewartstown Town Hall.

A second meeting that day at 4:30 p.m. has been scheduled to discuss bridge replacement on New Hampshire Route 145 over Bishop Brook.
