LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a man in a wheelchair waiting at a Las Vegas bus stop was struck by a vehicle impacted by a collision.

Las Vegas police say the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Bonanza Road at Eastern Avenue.

According to investigators, a Chrysler 300 crossed over a centerline while attempting a left turn and hit the left front and side of a Saturn ION.

The impact caused the Saturn to go off the road and onto the sidewalk, hitting 72-year-old Bruce Lee who is wheelchair-bound.

Paramedics transported Lee with critical injuries.

His condition was not immediately released Sunday.

Police say the Saturn’s driver, 54-year-old Noah Moffett, has been jailed for suspected drunk driving.

The driver of the Chrysler is not suspected of impairment.

The collision remains under investigation.
