PEWAUKEE, Wis. (AP) - Jeb Bush and his former rival in the Republican presidential race Scott Walker are saying nice things about one another during a campaign stop together in advance of the next GOP debate in Milwaukee.

The former Florida governor and current Wisconsin governor both spoke Monday at a Hispanic charter school in Waukesha. Bush praised Walker someone who takes on “entrenched interests” every day. Bush says he, like Walker, took on special interests to expand voucher schools.

Walker calls Bush a “great leader” both in Florida and for the entire country.

Following the event, Walker is headed to a fundraiser for Wisconsin Republicans. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is also attending that, after he held a rally for supporters in Pewaukee.

Walker dropped out of the presidential race seven weeks ago.
