YORK, Pa. (AP) - Police say a car fleeing a traffic stop in southeastern Pennsylvania crashed into a garage, killing two people in the car and injuring two others.

Spring Garden Township police say they tried to stop the car at 4:30 p.m. Sunday because they believed it was connected to an earlier assault. But investigators say the vehicle fled and struck a garage that collapsed onto it.

The York County Coroner’s Office says 19-year-old Elijah Moultrey died at the scene, and 22-year-old Brandon Moultrey died later at a hospital. Two others were taken to a hospital but their conditions weren’t clear.

The crash is under investigation.
