MARIANNA, Pa. (AP) - A drilling contractor found dead inside an overturned tanker truck likely was the victim of a “medical event” that caused the crash.

State police and the Washington County coroner were continuing Monday to investigate the death of 55-year-oold Robert Conway, of Burgettstown, on Friday night.

A co-worker found Conway inside an overturned saltwater tanker truck about 9:30 p.m. near a drilling pad in Amwell Township.

Coroner Tim Warco pronounced Conway dead at the scene and says an unspecified “medical event” likely caused Conway to lose control of the truck.

The exact cause of death has yet to be determined.
