NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say a massive fire ripped through a two-story home that was under construction in New York City.

The blaze broke out at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Queens.

An FDNY spokesman says the fire quickly grew to three alarms and damaged two adjacent homes.

It took firefighters about an hour to control the blaze.

No one was hurt.

It’s unclear what caused the fire.
