ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - Melanie Griffith’s real estate agent says interest in the actress’s Aspen Mountain home has increased since a video was posted on YouTube featuring the property and a short snippet with the star.

The Aspen Times reports (https://bit.ly/1MRXKWS) that the video is approaching 100,000 views since being posted Oct. 30. The video shows Griffith and her agent Bob Bowden walking through the property briefly before showing photos of the home’s seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

The house was originally listed for $9.9 million this summer, but Bowden says the asking price has dropped to $8.9 million after the 12-acre property attracted few showings.

Bowden says showing Griffith in the video doesn’t let the potential buyer imagine themselves in the home, but that Griffith’s star power outweighs that need.
