INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police are searching for a driver who fatally struck a 23-year-old man on the city’s south side.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says Roy Shelton of Indianapolis was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run sometime before 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officers believe the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run is a green Ford SUV or pickup truck made in the early 90s. It likely has moderate damage to the front passenger side.
