AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - Authorities are investigating after at least seven burglaries took place on the U.S. Route 202 corridor.

Sgt. Frank Hatch tells the Kennebec Journal (https://bit.ly/1JDpiXO ) the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office is looking into break-ins at three Manchester businesses. Winthrop police Chief Ryan Frost says that one business was burglarized in nearby Winthrop.

Lt. Walter Grzyb says state police are also investigating three break-ins in Greene. He says cash totaling less than $1,000 was stolen from Steel It roofing.

The burglaries all occurred overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

Investigators from all three agencies are working together. They believe the burglaries are connected.
