DENVER (AP) - The coroner’s office has released the name of a pedestrian who was hit and killed by a bus near downtown Denver.

The Denver Post reports (https://goo.gl/85k3s9 ) 59-year-old Denise Jan Barauskas died at a hospital after she was struck near Coors Field on Tuesday. Police spokeswoman Christine Downs says the crash is being investigated and that many details are not available.

The driver stayed at the scene, and no one has been cited.

Downs described the vehicle that hit Barauskas as a type of school bus, but she added that it was not operated by Denver Public Schools.
